I was recently reading an online newspaper that generally deals exclusively with music news. I got a kick out of reading the headline that said the village people freak out about Ares filesharing. I was trying to figure out why this article is even worth printing in the paper. How long has it been since they have even put out an album? Does it really matter what they think about the music industry? Aren’t there more important bands that they should talk to besides the village people? I find it funny how far sometimes the newspaper will stretch to get a story into the headlines.
To Quote An Official: The End Of Peer To Peer File Sharing]
I love the people that have some type of governmental authority that make statements that they cannot back up. I recently heard by an official the end of peer to peer file sharing. I know that he has some type of influence on the music industry but to make such a dogmatic statement seemed a little ridiculous. The last time that I checked many of these networks were still going strong. I think it is a threat to try and get them to change their tactics but it obviously has not worked any time in the recent past. It probably won’t work this time either.
